Roseann Padula

Former Secretary to the Board, Roseann is an attorney with Sullivan, Schoen, Campane & Connon, LLC. Prior to receiving her JD from the University of Connecticut School of Law, Roseann held Human Resource and Marketing positions in the Financial Services industry and earned a MBA from Pace University and a BA in Economics from Lafayette College. She has served as the Chair of the Legislative Affairs Committee of SHRM/Human Resource Association of Central Connecticut and Co-Chair of the Legislative Affairs Committee of SHRM/Connecticut Human Resource Council.

Fred Tesch, Ph.D.

Dr. Fred Tesch is Professor of Management and Coordinator of the MBA Program at WCSU's Ancell School of Business. He earned a BA from Amherst College and MA & PhD degrees from the University of Cincinnati. He has been active in SHRMWC over the years and served as the Chapter's 2002 President. He also pursues a private consulting practice.

Patt is the Human Resource and Finance Director at Cierant Corporation in Danbury. Prior to joining Cierant, she was the Controller at Paragon Networks International Inc., Brookfield, and Financial Analyst at General DataComm. Working in the HR field for over 15 years, she obtained her certification in January 2007. She earned a BA in Accounting from Roger Williams University, RI. Patt is also a Connecticut Notary Public.This is her second year on the SHRMWC Board and previously served as the Chapter's Secretary.

Art is a Human Resource Consultant with Capstone Services. He has held leadership and consulting positions in technology, accounting, pharmaceutical, insurance and reinsurance industries in public, private and international arenas. A graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University, Art is a past President and has served as Chairman of the Compensation and Benefits Committee.

Director of the Career Development Center at WCSU for the past 20 years, Maureen's career in academia also included the College of Mount Saint Vincent and Fordham University where she received her MS in Counseling and Personnel Services. She received her BA from Wells College in New York.

Fred Rhines

Fred is the President of On Track Staffing in Danbury. Prior to moving to the staffing industry Fred was President/CEO of the U.S. Operations of Publicis, Inc. Fred earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and a MBA from the University of California at Berkeley. He was the 2001 SHRMWC President and in addition to his SHRMWC duties, served as District Director on the SHRM Connecticut State Council.

John has held Operations and Human Resource Management positions in a variety of industries and is currently the owner of Whitcomb Business Corporation. He holds a BS from Rensaeller Polytechnic Institute and a MBS from the University of Wisconsin He is the Legislative Affairs Director and was formerly the State Director of the SHRM Connecticut HR Council.

Andy Thiede

After a long career in corporate HR management, Andy Thiede, SPHR is taking a hiatus and is currently working as an independent HR Consultant. As our Chapter Administrator, she manages the web site, registration duties, member communications and financial transactions for our chapter, which frees up the other board members to concentrate on strategic leadership of the Chapter. Andy is a Cum Laude graduate of Central Connecticut State University, a Notary Public for Connecticut, and has held her SPHR certification since 1999. She also works with another Connecticut SHRM chapter doing similar tasks, and the Connecticut SHRM State Council.

Dr. Nara Venditti is the Founder and President of Succeed in America, LLC. She is an expert in workplace diversity, immigrant and foreign-born employee development, business communication, and multicultural marketing. Author of over than 65 published works including "How to Get a Job in the USA" and "Ameri$peak", she is the recipient of State of Connecticut Official Citation for her tireless dedication to making a difference in the community. Dr. Venditti is the Diversity Director of the state of CT SHRM State Council. She joined the Board in 2005 as Programs Chair. She assumed the role of Diversity Director in 2007 and continues to be a part of Programs Committee.
